One of my favorite spots to take photos is at the gardens in Eisenhower Park on Long Island. I work not even five minutes from the park so I tend to go there a lot. One morning I decided to head to work a little earlier so I could stop at the park first and get some photos of morning dew on the flowers. In my few years of shooting I’ve encountered many insects when doing flower shots, but I’ve never been lucky enough to actually catch a butterfly long enough to get a photo. That all changed with this visit and the buterfly stuck around long enough for me to get a few photos in.
